Cheap Single Pushchairs
The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It has a flip-flop friendly one-step footbrake.
It's easy to push and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version features independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to 'perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.
The frame's base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and six-month color pack combine to create a stylish pushchair that's easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame weighs less than a kilogram, and is so lightweight that it is able to be lifted from the box with one hand.
The hood, for instance snaps onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring way. It's also machine washable at 30deg which helps prevent stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who want an adaptable stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, which means parents can choose which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a large storage basket that will hold everything you need on the go.
The Xplore also comes with two canopies that move from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or wide as some wagons, so it may not be suitable for long excursions or for napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex like other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.
In our test of the push and turn it performed better than many of the other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.
The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is billed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base and a reversible baby carriage.
The seat reclines with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. The narrow pushchair sailed through everyday bumps and doorways easily.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction and can also rotate. This is useful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt to be a bit rougher.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,
Baby Jogger is most famous for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers for jogging. But they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.
It is heavier than the other strollers we've tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry even with two kids and shopping bags.
Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extension. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.
It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has a large, deep basket to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller with you on the go.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first debuted. It's a frame made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It's got a few stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.
The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was simple to push, and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through tight streets.
It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also stand and be trolleyed for easier transport in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are simple to use using a single action colored and flip-flop compatible.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and comes with a great dual suspension. It folds by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that is suitable for babies.
The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.
The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be set towards the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments over who sits with dad and mom. best single jogging stroller has a huge bottle holder, gear tray snack tray, and an adjustable mat. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. It's among the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, like a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It also features a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type found on competing models.
The seat is very comfortable and provides plenty of space to sit. However, the seat isn't as deep as those of other runners (it's only about 10") The storage bin comes with a zippered cover to help keep items safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds which is sufficient for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and includes multiple languages.
